Stiefvater's Lakeside Cottages are on Fourth Lake in the beautiful Adirondack mountains in Inlet, NY near Old Forge. Our 3 acres and 259 feet of Fourth Lake shoreline provide everything you're looking for in an Adirondack vacation! We offer eleven 1-3 bedroom cottages and three 4-5 bedroom houses that accommodate families, couples, and individuals for a total of 14 Adirondack units.

This was our first time staying at Stiefvater's and our entire family (all 16 of us) immensely enjoyed our time. There was something for everyone from our 2 year old niece, 19 and 24 year old cousins, our selves, and my parents (Grandma and Grandpa)! The house was beautiful, clean, welcoming, and spacious! The younger kids enjoyed the playground, sandbox, sandy beach, and the ducks. The older kids appreciated the kayaks, recreation room, short walk to the village, and the wireless internet (ok I did too). My husband and I were able to dock our boat for early morning and sunset cruises free of charge...
